ShiftScout · AI-assisted, human-verified

Three shifts. Clearer coaching feedback.

ShiftScout uses AI-assisted analysis to follow one player through three submitted shifts. Clips of 60 seconds or longer are accepted; a human reviewer verifies the player and evidence before approving the final reel and report.

  • Condensed player-only reelYour three reviewed shifts, cut together using your actual submitted hockey video.
  • Coaching-style reportPractical observations for development—not a ranking.
  • Private from intake to deliveryYour footage is never made into a public profile.

How the analysis is verified

AI-assisted analysis with human verification and quality control

ShiftScout uses AI-assisted video analysis to follow the player and surface observable patterns. A human reviewer verifies the target player, the usable footage window, and the evidence behind every observation.

The reviewer checks positioning and support, puck decisions, transitions, effort and recovery, then approves the final reel and coaching-style report before delivery.

What we are not claiming: ShiftScout is not sold as a certified coaching session, professional scouting report, recruiting evaluation, or player ranking.

What a completed ShiftScout review looks like

This anonymized demonstration shows the reel format, evidence chain, player cue, practice plan, coach question, and footage limits a family can expect. Your player’s findings will depend on what is actually visible in the submitted footage.

Your delivered reel is real hockey video—not an outline-style animation. It uses your actual submitted game clips in their normal video form. The black-and-white outline treatment below is used only to protect the identity of the player in this public sample.

77-second sample evidence reel

Three focused evidence windows with the reviewed player marked at the start of each segment.

00:00–00:04: Title card identifies an anonymized Sample Player #9, a wing, and explains that venue, team, and audio details were removed.

00:04–00:32: The player is circled before Segment 1. The stylized footage shows high-side support followed by a recovery route as play changes direction. Cue: “First three strides back.”

00:32–00:46: The player is circled before Segment 2. The footage shows the player moving with the group from a restart into the next zone. Cue: “Move with the play.”

00:46–01:13: The player is circled before Segment 3. The footage shows the player retaining an outside lane through transition. Cue: “Show wide, then arrive underneath.”

01:13–01:17: Closing card summarizes the two deliverables: a condensed evidence reel and a human-verified coaching-style report.

Public-sample privacy: The player name, team, opponent, date, venue, source color, signage, and source audio have been removed or transformed. The sample is illustrative; customer footage and reports remain private.

Why three shifts?

More information is not always more useful

For many young and developing players, a full-game review can produce more observations than they can realistically work on at once. Covering every shift may add volume without giving enough attention to the few changes that could help most.

ShiftScout intentionally focuses on three submitted shifts so the feedback can be specific: what happened, what the player did well, constructive criticism, and practical coaching or training suggestions.

The goal is a manageable development plan the player can take into the next practice or game—not a long list of every possible issue.

Right-sized for development: Full-game review can still be useful for advanced tactical or scouting questions. ShiftScout is a focused development snapshot, not a complete evaluation of the player.

The footage requirement

Choose the easiest footage option for your family

Parents do not need to edit video. Send a full game or period with three rough shift times if you know them, three raw shift clips, or a full game without timestamps. Finding shifts in a full game without timestamps may extend processing time.

Three clips may be separate links, one shared folder, or one simple compilation. For best results, aim for about 90 seconds per clip when possible. That usually preserves the full shift plus useful context before and after it. Longer or shorter clips are accepted. A submitted clip of 60 seconds or longer is accepted and proceeds automatically; for a shorter clip, you may replace it or choose to continue with the available footage. Include about 5–10 seconds before and after each shift when possible, but this padding is not required.

After payment, upload MP4, MOV, M4V, or WEBM video directly to our private storage, or use private HTTPS links that stay accessible through delivery. Link sources include Google Drive files or folders, Dropbox, iCloud or Mail Drop, accessible LiveBarn, Hudl, and Veo links. Never send a password or account credentials.

What happens from footage check to delivery

  1. Choose your footage option.Use a game/period with rough shift times, three raw shift clips, or a full game without timestamps. No editing is required.
  2. Know exactly what intake asks for. After payment you enter a one-word nickname, age group, level, jersey color and number, position, handedness, visual clues, and up to three private HTTPS footage links.
  3. Pay, return, and submit privately.Stripe returns you to this page and unlocks intake in the same browser. We collect no player details or private footage link before a paid order exists.

Why payment comes before the private link: this avoids storing information about a minor or retaining private footage from people who have not placed an order. If the footage cannot produce the promised three-shift review after the replacement process, the order is fully refunded.

Before you order

  • When delivery timing starts: Target delivery is within two business days after ProspectPath confirms the target player can be identified and the three submitted shift sequences can be reviewed. Payment alone does not start that clock.
  • If a clip is short or unusable: For a clip under 60 seconds, you may replace it or choose to continue with the available footage. ProspectPath requests replacement only when footage is corrupt, inaccessible, or the player cannot be identified. If the review still cannot be provided after that process, you receive a full refund.
  • Refunds and completion: You may request a full refund before footage review work begins. Once the completed reel and report are delivered, the service is fulfilled except for a delivery error or inability to provide the promised three shifts. Contact hello@prospectpathhockey.ai.
  • What this is: Private development feedback—not a ranking, recruiting evaluation, exposure service, placement promise, or medical advice.

Privacy and minimal player information

  • Use a one-word player first name or nickname only (40 characters maximum). No last name, birth date, or school is required. Do not add other identifying details unless necessary to find the player in the footage, and never send passwords or credentials.
  • Stripe processes payment. ProspectPath does not store full card details.
  • Footage and source links stay private. They are never posted publicly, used in marketing or testimonials, or used to train models without separate written parent permission.
  • Temporary downloaded media and hosted delivery files are removed within 30 days after delivery. Identifying intake details and the stored source URL are removed within 90 days after delivery and support close.
  • Abandoned direct uploads are deleted within 7 days. Direct-upload source media attached to an order is deleted within 30 days after delivery. A lifecycle safety backstop may lag these application deletion targets.
  • A parent may request earlier deletion after fulfillment at hello@prospectpathhockey.ai.
